BPU Investigation of Resource Adequacy Alternatives and Request for Comment – BPU Docket No. EO20030203 (March 27, 2020)
Atlantic City Electric continued its support for local community organizations through its 14th annual Atlantic City Electric Golf Classic, a golf outing held this year at Galloway National Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey. This year's event raised more than $200,000 for three South Jersey nonprofit organizations – Community FoodBank, Special Olympics, and the Val Skinner Foundation-LIFE LPGA Pros in the Fight -- to help fund their local missions in supporting athlete development, breast cancer education and helping to end hunger.
Since its inception in 2006, the Atlantic City Electric Golf Classic has raised more than $1.8 million for 18 local nonprofit organizations in southern New Jersey. The funding, which is provided by Atlantic City Electric's parent company foundation, PHI Community Foundation, has helped support many local programs, including those that provide youth mentoring, breast cancer awareness, support abused or neglected children, help struggling individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency, and celebrate the achievements of children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
Atlantic City Electric is committed to community involvement and being a good corporate citizen for the communities where its employees live and work.
