MAYS LANDING, N.J. (June 5, 2017) - As a result of the merger between Exelon and Pepco Holdings, all Atlantic City Electric (ACE) customers will receive a monthly bill credit based on their current billing cycle beginning in June. A typical residential customer using 716 kilowatt hours will see a bill decrease of about $4.37 per month. The credit will stop when the $22 million fund has been fully distributed to customers. The Exelon Rate Credit Offset appears as a line item in the Delivery Charges section of a customer's bill and will vary based on individual usage.
"The rate credit is one way our customers have and will continue to benefit through our merger with Exelon," said Vince Maione, Atlantic City Electric region president. "These expanded merger benefits will have a positive impact on our customers, the communities we serve and the local economy."
