MAYS LANDING, N.J. (April 25, 2017) - Employees of Atlantic City Electric are celebrating National Volunteer Week (April 23-29) by participating in several employee-led South Jersey events.

We are proud to support Volunteer Week activities and are thrilled so many of our employees participate in volunteer initiatives throughout the year to support numerous organizations in the communities we live and work.
Atlantic City Electric employees participated in the following National Volunteer Week events:
National Volunteer Week is an annual, nationwide celebration of people working to improve their communities through volunteer service. Atlantic City Electric and its parent company Exelon recognize National Volunteer Week by empowering employees to design their service projects and recruit others to participate. Projects will focus on education, environmental stewardship, diversity and inclusion, and community enrichment.
In addition to Atlantic City Electric, National Volunteer Week will include employee-led service projects from across the Exelon family of companies including: ComEd in Illinois, Constellation and BGE in Maryland, Pepco in Washington D.C., PECO in Pennsylvania, Delmarva Power in Delaware, and Exelon Generation and Exelon Business Services Company in the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic and Texas. This year, employees across Exelon will participate in more than 125 community service projects in April.
$1 million to support local organizations in 2016. This includes the areas of business, children and youth, culture and the arts, education, environment, emergency and health and human services.
