Atlantic City Electric Holds Food Drive for Those in Need

MAYSLANDING, N.J. (Nov. 14, 2016) - Atlantic City Electric (ACE) in collaboration with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Southern Branch, recently held a volunteer event at the Food Bank's Egg Harbor Township, N.J., location. More than 40 Atlantic City Electric employees, their family members and friends packed boxes with donated food for residents in need.

To support this volunteer event, Atlantic City Electric held food drives across various company locations resulting in nearly 1,700 pounds of food collected to help stock the cupboards of the Food Bank. 

"Atlantic City Electric has a longstanding commitment to the Food Bank," said Vince Maione, Atlantic City Electric region president. "We believe it's important to support local organizations, like the Food Bank, that make a difference in the lives of others. We have an obligation to help meet the needs of residents and our customers by assisting organizations that benefit those in need."
