MAYS LANDING, N.J. (April 18, 2016) - April 18 marks National Lineman Appreciation Day. Today, Atlantic City Electric recognizes its linemen and celebrates the men and women who work tirelessly to provide safe and reliable electricity to our homes, businesses and schools.

Designated in 2013 through a U.S. Senate resolution, National Lineman Appreciation Day honors the individuals who work around the clock to provide safe and reliable electric service. National Lineman Appreciation Day gives us a chance to say thank you to these dedicated individuals who maintain, repair and make improvements to our electrical system.

"We proudly recognize these hard working men and women who dedicate themselves every day to deliver safe and reliable electricity to our customers," said Vince Maione, Atlantic City Electric region president. "These team members work in inclement weather, hazardous conditions, and on holidays to maintain the electrical system that is essential to our lives."
