Strong winds and heavy rainfall may bring down trees and damage equipment, resulting in power outages for our customers. We are prepared for this event and have enhanced our staffing resources to best respond. Safety is our top priority. We urge customers to stay away from downed wires and other equipment. MAYS LANDING, NJ - Atlantic City Electric is closely monitoring a weather forecast that calls for a wintry mix, including but not limited to prolonged rain and or snow to affect the company's service territory this week.
Atlantic City Electric will schedule and adjust its workforce with the timing of the weather and any resulting customer outages. We will work around the clock to restore any outages that may occur, but customers need to be prepared for the possibility of power outages.
Additionally, Atlantic City Electric is in contact with local emergency management officials.
Customers are asked to please call in any outages and stay away from any downed wires. To report outages and downed wires, please call 1-800-833-7476. Follow the prompts and ask for a call back to confirm that power has been restored.
