MAYS LANDING, NJ. - Atlantic City Electric in collaboration with Cape Human Resources, South Jersey Industries and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey, will hold an Economic and Energy Assistance Expo Friday, September 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Christ Gospel Community Life Center, 2209 Route 9 South, Whitesboro, NJ.
Representatives of Atlantic City Electric, South Jersey Gas and other Cape May County social service providers will be available to discuss assistance programs for those who qualify. Eligibility differs by program and certain restrictions apply.
Attendees must bring a lease, property tax or mortgage statement; proof of current income (last four pay stubs if paid weekly and last two if paid bi-weekly); social security insurance (SSI), social security disability (SSD), temporary assistance for need families (TANF) or general assistance (GA) award letters; social security cards for all household members; and a current gas, oil and electric bill. For those who with no income, an affidavit of non-income is required.
