Atlantic City Electric parent company donates $250,000 to Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund

MAYS LANDING, N.J. - Pepco Holdings Inc., parent company of Atlantic City Electric, has donated $250,000 to the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund (HSNJRF). Established by Gov. Chris Christie and chaired by First Lady Mary Pat Christie, the HSNJRF is a nonprofit organization that raises and distributes funds to organizations in support of the long-term recovery and rebuilding efforts of New Jersey communities affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Joseph M. Rigby, PHI chairman, president and CEO said, "We are proud that we are able to help our communities rebuild, and we commend the commitment of this organization to help so many deserving people."

"We saw firsthand the incredible devastation of this storm for our customers, our neighbors and our employees," said Vince Maione, Atlantic City Electric region president.
