Utility Asks Customers to Prepare for Possible Outages
MAYS LANDING, N.J. - Atlantic City Electric is closely monitoring the development of a complex storm system that is expected to reach the region late tonight. The National Weather Service is predicting several rounds of mixed precipitation followed by strong surface winds, but no accumulating snow is expected.
Heavy rain and strong winds can weigh down tree limbs, bringing them into contact with power lines and causing power outages. Customers should report their outages to Atlantic City Electric by calling 800-833-7476.
