Atlantic City Electric Kicks Off Annual 'Gift of Energy' Program

MAYS LANDING, N.J. - The sluggish economy could pose a hardship for some Atlantic City Electric customers who are struggling to pay their energy bill. This holiday season, you can help those less fortunate customers by giving them the Gift of Energy.

Gift of Energy payments can be made in person, by cash, check or credit card, at one of the company's five courtesy centers located throughout southern New Jersey. The program launches today and runs through January 15, 2011.

The way it works is simple, just:

  • Visit an Atlantic City Electric Courtesy Center today;
  • Provide the service teller with the name and address of the person you're buying the Gift of Energy for;
  • Make a payment on that special someone's account; and
  • Receive a free holiday greeting card to give to that special someone, compliments of Atlantic City Electric.
