Atlantic City Electric Names 2011 Golf Event Beneficiaries

Southern New Jersey Communities to Receive Supporting Funds

MAYS LANDING, N.J. - Atlantic City Electric has selected the beneficiaries of its Sixth Annual Fall Charity Golf Classic scheduled for Sept. 26. Selected to receive a portion of this year's net proceeds are Special Olympics New Jersey, the Arc of Atlantic County and Gateway Community Action Partnership.

The PHI Community Foundation's Atlantic City Electric Fall Charity Golf Classic began in 2006 and since its inception, has raised over six hundred thousand dollars for nonprofit organizations in South Jersey.

"We hope that the total dollars raised this year will surpass last year's," said Atlantic City Electric Region Vice President Robert Revelle. "Business leaders throughout Southern New Jersey have shared how much they value this initiative that benefits our communities."

This year's title sponsor is Cooper Levenson. The platinum sponsors are Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoades, LLP, Kline Construction and IBEW Local 351.

The 2011 Atlantic City Electric Fall Charity Golf Classic event will be held Sept. 26 at the Galloway National Golf Club in Galloway Township, New Jersey. Galloway National is a private, 18-hole championship golf course rated in the top 100 by Golf Digest.
