Company Partners to Connect Community Need with Resources
MAYS LANDING, N.J. - Atlantic City Electric is partnering with the United Way of Atlantic County, the Atlantic County Sheriff's R.E.A.L. Help program, South Jersey Gas Company, NJ Shares, Atlantic Human Resources and other social service providers to present an Economic and Energy Assistance Expo on Thurs., Oct. 28, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The expo will be held in front of the Division of Motor Vehicles at the Shore Mall, 6725 Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor Township, N.J. It is free to the public.
The goal of the expo is to provide information, answer energy related questions on local programs and process assistance applications.
Sheriff Frank X. Balles created the 'R.E.A.L. Help' program to respond to the increased number of families that are in danger of losing their homes. "We want to help prevent families losing their homes," said Balles. "R.E.A.L Help," which stands for Realty Experts Aligned to Help, provides education and outreach about programs that may help them during these challenging times.
