Less Than 100 Remain Without Power

MAYS LANDING, N.J. - Atlantic City Electric has restored power to more than 68,000 customers and continues to make progress repairing damage to the electrical system caused by last Sunday's widespread storm.

"Less than 100 customers remain without power and most of them are in the Bridgeton and Millville areas of Cumberland County. By late today, the remaining outages will be restored," said Robert Revelle, Atlantic City Electric Region Vice President. "We're thankful for our customers' patience and the assistance we received from local officials."

As the summer progresses with the onset of future storms, Atlantic City Electric urges customers to call the outage line at 1-800-833-7476 to report power outages or other emergencies, such as a downed wire, pole accident or tree limb on a wire. Additional safety and outage information may be found at www.atlanticcityelectric.com.
