Atlantic City Electric Continues Restoration from Summer Storm

Fewer Than 1600 Remain Without Power

MAYS LANDING, N.J. - Atlantic City Electric has fewer than 1,600 customer outages and continues to make progress repairing the damage from last Sunday's powerful storm.

"We've concentrated our workforce in the Bridgeton and Millville areas of Cumberland County where the majority of the outages remain," said Robert Revelle, Atlantic City Electric Region Vice President. "We appreciate our customers' patience and the assistance of local officials and the Offices of Emergency Management. We expect to have service restored to the remaining few customers by late Wednesday."

Health and safety remain top priorities as we work to recover from this storm. We urge customers to stay clear of downed wires and report then to us along with their power outage by calling our outage hotline at 1-800-833-7476. We also remind those who choose to run home generators to do so safely, so as not to harm themselves, their families or utility crews working on the system. Additional outage and safety information may be found at www.atlanticcityelectric.com.
