Company Partners to Help Public at Free Exposition
MAYS LANDING, N.J. - Atlantic City Electric is partnering with the United Way of Cumberland County, Cumberland Mall, South Jersey Industries, South Jersey Healthcare, Tri-County Community Action Partnership and other Cumberland County social service agencies to present Project Warm Heart, an energy and social services assistance exposition on Thursday, Jan. 28, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The expo will be held in the Boscov's wing of the Cumberland Mall, 3849 S. Delsea Drive, Vineland, N.J. It is free to the public.
The goal of Project Warm Heart is to let Cumberland County residents know that assistance is available if they should fall behind on paying their utility bills or if they need any other type of social service help. Representatives from local utilities and social service agencies will be on site to help individuals apply for various assistance programs and answer energy related questions and concerns. Local health and human service agencies such as Money Management International, Community Food Bank, South Jersey Healthcare and the Cumberland County Health Department will offer information and education about programs ranging from establishing credit, managing finances, health concerns, and food assistance.
