Atlantic City Electric President Joins State Chamber of Commerce

Vince Maione Appointed to Board of Directors

MAYS LANDING, N.J. - Atlantic City Electric Region President Vince Maione recently was appointed to the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce.

The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, based in Trenton, New Jersey, is a business advocacy organization which promotes a favorable business climate through vision, expertise and innovative solutions. For nearly 100 years, the Chamber's staff has represented its members on a wide range of business and education issues in state government and in Washington. The organization also links the state's local and regional chambers on issues of importance through its grassroots legislative network.

"I'm honored to be included among such a distinguished group of individuals and look forward to working with the Board and providing the guidance necessary to develop proactive solutions to the important and tough issues faced by businesses in southern New Jersey," said Maione.

Maione is a 25-year veteran with the utility and has held various positions including Supervisor of Distribution Engineering, Regional Resource Manager for Delmarva Power and Light's Bay Region, and most recently, PHI's Mid-Atlantic Power Pathway (MAPP) Project Manager.

Maione is a graduate of Villanova University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. He is pursuing his Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland, with a June 2010 anticipated graduation date. He holds licenses as a Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Born in Naples, Italy, Maione and his family settled in Hammonton, New Jersey. Maione and his wife Andrea have three children. Maione recently was appointed to the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Utilities Association and is a former Council member in Hammonton, New Jersey, where he served two terms.
