Vince Maione Appointed to Board of Directors
MAYS LANDING, N.J. - Atlantic City Electric Region President Vince Maione recently was appointed to the New Jersey Utilities Association's (NJUA) Board of Directors. NJUA serves the investor-owned public utilities in New Jersey by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and a unified voice in the public policy arena.
"I'm honored to be included among such distinguished individuals and look forward to working with the board to support the southern New Jersey utilities that provide vital services throughout southern New Jersey," said Maione.
As Region President, Maione's primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining key customer, community and governmental relationships throughout the utility's service territory. Maione began his career in 1984 with Atlantic City Electric in the company's Commercial & Industrial Marketing Department. Since then, he has held various positions within the company, including Supervisor of Distribution Engineering, Regional Resource Manager and Pepco Holdings, Inc.'s (PHI)'s Mid-Atlantic Power Pathway Project Manager. PHI is the parent company of Atlantic City Electric.
Born in Naples, Italy, Maione lived most of his life in Hammonton, N.J., where he was twice-elected to the town council. He graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree and holds licenses as a Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
