MAYS LANDING, NJ. - Raymond "Lee" Wasman, Atlantic City Electric Region Senior Public Affairs Manager, has completed the 2007 Leadership New Jersey program, which is designed to bring together a select group of individuals who have been acknowledged as emerging leaders with potential to solve problems of statewide significance.

Wasman is responsible for local government and community relations for Atlantic City Electric's New Jersey Government Affairs and Public Policy Department. He earned both his bachelor and master's degree in business from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Pomona, New Jersey. He is a 2007 graduate of Rutgers South Jersey Regional Leadership Institute and currently serves on the boards of The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey Foundation, The Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce, Northfield Little League and most recently was named to the board of Trustees of New Jersey Future. Lee and his wife, Linda, reside in Northfield, New Jersey with their daughter Andrea.

Atlantic City Electric employs several graduates of this prestigious program, including Region President Kenneth Parker, Class of 1999, and Region Vice Presidents Robert K. Marshall, Class of 2005 and Charlie Wimberg, Class of 2007. "I'm honored to become a graduate of such a distinguished program and look forward to joining a network of leaders working to improve New Jersey," Wasman said.

Participants in Leadership New Jersey are selected on ability, demonstrated interest in the community, achievement in their profession and potential for responsible and effective leadership. Each year, 50 men and women are selected from hundreds of applicants to participate in this program.
