MAYS LANDING, N.J. - Now through July 31, 2008, Atlantic City Electric customers are eligible to receive a rebate of 50 percent of the cost of purchasing an electric lawn mower.

Atlantic City Electric's "Electric Mower Rebate Program," will help customers save the green in their pockets as well as in the environment. The quick and easy rebate process requires a visit to any participating home improvement or hardware store and the purchase of a corded or cordless electric lawn mower. When the sale is complete, the customer should visit atlanticcityelectric.com to download the rebate application.

The customer will receive a rebate check of up to $200 in four to six weeks after mailing the following: a complete rebate application with Atlantic City Electric customer account information, the mower's Universal Product Code (UPC) and a legible copy of the receipt. These items should be mailed to the address found on the rebate application.

Not only will customers receive cash back, they also will help protect the environment because electric mowers need no gas or oil, are quieter and exhaust free.
