Atlantic City Electric Region President Ken Parker will be recognized as one of the state's most prominent leaders for his contributions to making New Jersey a better place to live and work. On Thursday, December 6th, Leadership New Jersey will recognize Parker at the annual Celebration of Leadership in New Brunswick.
Parker is the primary executive responsible for the management of stakeholder relations with relevant state and local government officials, community leaders, business, consumer and non-profit groups. Atlantic City Electric recently proposed an ambitious program for investing in innovative technologies and new measures that will help its customers manage their energy use, reduce the total cost of energy and help protect the environment. Such leadership solidifies the company's reputation and brand as a reliable and responsive deliverer of electric power operating with the highest standards of safety, integrity and civic responsibility.
He serves as the link between the company's internal management and its many external stakeholders. Parker also serves as Commissioner of the NJ State Board of Education and as a Board of Director for the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce, Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey, and the New Jersey Utilities Association. Furthermore, he is an active member of the LNJ Class of 1999. Ken Parker lives in Winslow Township NJ, with his wife Sheri, daughter Lauren and son, Kenny Jr.
