Mays Landing, N.J. - Charles A. Wimberg, Jr., Atlantic City Electric Region Vice President, has completed the 2007 Leadership New Jersey, a program designed to bring together a select group of New Jersey leaders who have been acknowledged as emerging leaders with potential to solve problems with statewide significance.
Wimberg is a graduate of Upsala College and holds a Masters degree from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. He is a resident of Galloway Township and a member of the boards of directors for Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey, American Red Cross, Atlantic-Cumberland Chapter, the Hispanic Institute, Special Olympics of New Jersey and the United Way of Atlantic County.
Atlantic City Electric is honored to have in its employ past graduates of this prestigious program, including Region President Kenneth Parker, Class of 1999, and Region Vice President Robert K. Marshall, Class of 2005. "I'm honored to become a graduate of such a distinguished program and look forward to joining a network of leaders working to improve New Jersey," said Wimberg.
Participants in Leadership New Jersey are selected on ability, demonstrated interest in the community, achievement in their profession and potential for responsible and effective leadership. Each year, 50 men and women who combine a successful year with community leadership, are selected from hundreds of applicants to participate in this prestigious program.
