Family Service Association Chose to Honor Atlantic City Electric
Mays Landing, N.J. - In observance of National Family Week, Family Service Association has selected Atlantic City Electric for the 2007 Henry West Leeds Corporate Leadership Award for Strengthening the Community.
Each year Family Service Association presents the Corporate Leadership Award, which the Board introduced in 1995, to a corporate leader who has made a positive contribution to the development of a strong community. This year Family Service Association has chosen to recognize Atlantic City Electric.
"We applaud the ongoing interest and concern you have shown for charities in Atlantic County," said Jerome J. Johnson, President, CEO, of Family Service Association. "W e would also like to acknowledge you and your staff for your volunteer leadership and service on numerous non-profit agency boards."
Family Service Association presented the Corporate Leadership Award Thursday to Atlantic City Electric at its 27th Annual Celebration of Families Event held this year at the Carriage House in Galloway Township, New Jersey.
"Atlantic City Electric recognizes there is a corporate responsibility to enrich the lives of families that live within the communities we serve," Kenneth Parker, President, Atlantic City Electric Region, said in his keynote address at the annual awards dinner. "When our communities are strong, the individual families that live and exist in those communities flourish and succeed."
