Atlantic City Electric today is launching a redesigned Web site featuring improved navigation to make it easier for customers to find the information they need, such as getting information about power outages after a storm or paying their bill online. The new Web site is based on customer input and is part of a series of new Web sites being introduced today by Atlantic City Electric's parent company, Pepco Holdings, Inc., and its sister utilities Delmarva Power and Pepco.
The Web addresses for the sites remain the same:
The purpose of the redesign was to improve the usability and navigation for all the sites based on current best practice and user input. Atlantic City Electric conducted focus groups with customers earlier this year to determine how people use its Web site and what navigation is most intuitive. The design and navigation of the new site is based on this research.
The launch of the redesigned Web site follows the resumption earlier this year of Atlantic City Electric's heritage brand name; it was previously known as Conectiv Power Delivery.
