Construction & Remodeling

Like many companies throughout the world, electric utilities in the U.S. are seeing supply chain delays and material shortages stemming from the long-term impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Global supply chain issues have resulted in material shortages and/or delays for some materials, specifically related to new projects on the Atlantic City Electric system.  As a result, there are longer lead times for equipment required for new projects. Our supply of meters, conduit, transformers, switches, and other critical items has been impacted, which is causing some delays for customers with new building or expansion projects. It's possible that these challenges may continue into late 2023.

While we are doing everything possible to mitigate the impact of these shortages, we are notifying customers to anticipate delays in new projects that require materials and equipment provided by Atlantic City Electric.
