  • AGGREGATED NET ENERGY METERING AND INTERCONNECTIONS

  • On March 18, 2015, the Board of Public Utilities voted to re-adopt the Special Adoption of Title 14, Chapter 8, Subchapter 7 of the New Jersey Administrative Code, Aggregated Net Metering. These regulations define net metering aggregation generally as a procedure for calculating the combination of the annual energy usage for all facilities owned by a single customer where each customer is a State entity, school district, county, county agency, county authority, municipality, municipal agency, or municipal authority, when one of those facilities is served by a solar electric power generating facility.

Aggregated net energy metering has not been approved for residential customers in New Jersey.

We will update this page with the Aggregated Net Metering Tariff and Aggregated Net Metering Application once they are approved by the Board of Public Utilities.  Please check back for the status.
