LANDING, N.J. (Oct. 17, 2017) – A conservation period will be called Wednesday,
October 18 from 2 to 3 p.m. for Atlantic City Electric customers participating
in the Energy Wise Rewards Program.
For participating customers, Atlantic
City Electric will cycle the participants’ air conditioner compressors off and
on for short intervals during this time frame. Because the air conditioner fans
will continue to run, most customers will not notice a temperature change in
their home. It may take up to a half-hour after the test event ends for air
conditioners to resume normal operations.
