Local Utility Recognized for Community Service
MAYS LANDING, N.J. – Atlantic City Electric recently was selected by eWomenNetwork of Southern New Jersey to receive the 2009 Sweet Charity Award at their Evening of Gratitude Reception at Harrah’s Pool Lounge in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The award recognizes an individual or company that provides ongoing support to non-profit organizations in their community.
The event also featured a resource center showcasing many local non-profit agencies that support women and children in Atlantic County and surrounding regions. Each agency shared how they made a difference in the community.
