Estimated Bills

Your electric bill is based on a regular monthly meter reading.  Most of our 550,000 meters are read manually by  meter readers that work for Millennium a third party that provides meter reading services for Atlantic City Electric and South Jersey Gas.

In rare cases, a meter reader may be unable to access a customer meter.  That’s because of extreme weather conditions, the location of the meter or because of increased security measures. In these instances, we provide customers with an estimated bill based on previous average electricity usage until an actual meter reading can be obtained.

  • you can read the meter and click here to submit the reading online or call 1-800-642-3780 and report the reading over the phone.  Learn how to read your meter.

If you have problems paying an estimated bill, there are various payment plans available.  Learn more about these payment services.
