Price to Compare

Below are the necessary steps to compare prices and help calculate your potential savings.

To calculate your savings, determine the difference between Atlantic City Electric's "Price to Compare" and the price of other Electric Generation Suppliers participating in the NJ Energy Choice Program by subtracting one from the other. If the supplier’s price is less than the "Price to Compare", you’ll save money. Multiply that difference by your average monthly kilowatt-hour (kWh) usage to determine your average monthly and annual savings.

1. Look at the "Price to Compare" chart to determine your correct rate. New Jersey Residential Price To Compare (cents per kWh)

Rate Class 6/1/07 6/1/08 10/1/08
Monthly General Service Secondary (MGS-S) 9.80 11.15 12.67
